Students enjoy three-day school holidays in Sindh

• Students in Sindh will have extended holiday in schools in Sindh.
• The holidays begin from March 23 till March 25.
• The extended holidays were announced for Hindu community.

Students attending school and college will have an extended weekend due to the celebration of Pakistan Day and Holi.

The provincial government declared a public holiday on March 23, Friday, resulting in all schools and offices being closed on Saturday.

The announcement confirmed a public holiday in schools, colleges, and higher education institutions. Semi-government institutions and local councils will also be closed.

The Department of Services, General Administration, and Co-ordination issued another notification confirming the weekend holiday.

Holi Holiday

In addition to the weekend, the provincial government declared a holiday on March 25 (Monday) for the Hindu community to celebrate Holi.

The Sindh government issued a notification confirming a holiday for Hindu employees in offices, bodies, corporations, and local councils.
