Karachi, the bustling metropolis, experienced scorching temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius yesterday, leaving residents bracing for another hot day today.

The Meteorological Department predicts that the ongoing heatwave will persist until Thursday, maintaining the city’s fiery grip. Karachi has become the country’s hot spot, with Nawabshah recording the highest temperature of 41 degrees on Monday.

While most regions across the country are expected to remain dry today, there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon.

The Meteorological Department anticipates possible rainfall in select areas, including Islamabad, upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir.

As Karachi residents seek relief from the relentless heat, they remain vigilant for any changes in weather conditions and prepare accordingly.
