Festivities continue on third day of Eid-ul-Fitr
Today, Eid-ul-Fitr is being observed with religious devotion and respect across the country. Thousands of small and large gatherings of Eid prayers were organized in all small and large cities o the country. People prayed for the security, development and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the Chiefs of the Armed Forces extended warm wishes to the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
On the occasion of happiness, the President of the nation said that the people of Occupied Kashmir should be remembered.
Zardari voiced his support for the Palestinian people and urged the global community to promptly ensure peace and provide assistance in Gaza.
Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed in his message that Eid symbolizes the act of aiding our less fortunate brothers and sisters to amplify their joy.
He added the rich should include the poor in their happiness on this occasion. He further added that we should pay tribute to the sons who has sacrificed their lives for the safety of the country.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, Services Chiefs extended their congratulations the nation on auspicious occasion of Eid, as per ISPR.
On the joyous occasion of Eid, armed forces delivered a message that the real essence of Eid for soldiers lies in protecting the nation on the front line.
According to ISPR, in their message, the chiefs of the Pakistan Army said, “On this auspicious occasion, let us remember the unwavering courage of our national heroes. Always grateful for the sacrifices of his family.”
