The price of a 10-kilogram flour bag has been reduced from Rs 500 to Rs 600 in Punjab. It was informed at a high-level meeting held at the Punjab Food Department with Food Minister Bilal Yasin in the chair. In the Lahore division, a 10-kg flour bag is available for Rs 800.
A 10-kg flour bag is being sold at Rs 830 in the Faisalabad division, Rs 800 in the Sargodha division, and Rs 820 in the Sahiwal division.
In the Gujarat division, a 10-kg bag of flour is being sold for Rs 850. Likewise, it is available at Rs 860 in the Dera Ghazi Khan division and Rs 870 in the Bahawalpur division. In contrast, in the Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and Multan divisions, a bag of 10 kg flour is available at Rs 900.

At the meeting, Bilal Yasin said that a huge reduction in the prices of flour was a big relief for the common man. He said that the prices of roti and naan have also been reduced due to a decrease in the price of flour. “The administration is ensuring the availability of roti and naan at the notified prices across Punjab,” he said.
