Former JUI MNA Maulvi Asmatullah, brother pass away the same day

QUETTA: Maulvi Asmatullah, a former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), and his elder brother Baz Khan both passed away on the same day.

Baz Khan died in Killa Saifullah on Tuesday morning and was laid to rest in his hometown graveyard at 4:00 PM.

Unfortunately, due to his illness, Maulvi Asmatullah couldn’t attend his brother’s burial; he was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Quetta.

Tragically, Maulvi Asmatullah also passed away later that same day after his brother’s burial.

His funeral is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday in his native graveyard. Maulvi Asmatullah was renowned as an esteemed poet in Balochistan and had been elected as a member of the National Assembly twice and once as a member of the provincial assembly.
