A statement has been issued by K-Electric regarding the power outage in large parts of Karachi.

According to a spokesperson for K-Electric, complaints of power supply disruption were received from a few limited areas of the city. The temporary outage caused by a minor technical fault has been promptly resolved.

The spokesperson further stated that the power supply in Karachi is normal. However, the restoration of supply in Lasbela and Baldia will take some more time. For further assistance, customers can contact 118 or reach out through social media platforms.

It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated tripping in K-Electric’s extra high tension line, which led to the shutdown of several grid stations and caused a power outage in various parts of the city.

Power outages were reported in Korangi, Lyari, Kharadar, Defence, II Chundrigar Road, SITE Area, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, and Jacob Lines.
