According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 9th International Aman Exercises will take place from February 7 to 11. A unique feature of Aman 2025 is the International Aman Dialogue, which will involve naval chiefs and coast guard leaders.
During the Aman Dialogue, senior military leadership from around the world will discuss joint strategies to address regional security and maritime threats. The first-ever International Aman Dialogue, held alongside the exercise, will see the participation of nearly 120 delegations from across the globe.
The Aman Exercises 2025 will involve around 60 countries, with their naval ships, aircraft, special services groups, and representatives.
With over 4,000 participants, this global naval exercises and dialogue will be a landmark military event in the region.
The Aman exercises have been held every two years since 2007, with 50 countries participating in the 8th Aman Exercises in 2023.
The aim of the Aman Exercises is to promote regional peace and cooperation, and it includes both harbor and maritime phases. The opening ceremony of the Aman 2025 exercises will be held at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard.
During the exercises, the Pakistan Marines and Special Services Group (Navy) will showcase their counter-terrorism expertise, and joint operations will be conducted to combat maritime crimes.
The exercises will conclude on February 11 with an International Fleet Review, attended by top foreign and domestic dignitaries.
