Security Forces eliminate five Khwarij terrorists, including ring leader

ISLAMABAD: On Friday, Security Forces killed five Khwarij terrorists, including their ring leader Abidullah, in an intelligence-based operation in the Tirah area of Khyber District. The operation was carried out following reports of Khwarij terrorists’ presence in the region.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, Security Forces successfully engaged the terrorists’ position during the operation, resulting in the death of five Khwarij, including Abidullah, also known as Turab. One terrorist was apprehended during the operation.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists, who had been actively involved in several terrorist activities targeting security forces and innocent civilians in the area.

The ISPR also confirmed that a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the region. The military reiterated its commitment to eradicating terrorism from Pakistan.
