Indian journalist Archana Tiwari uncovered inconsistencies in the official narrative surrounding the Pahalgam attack, raising serious questions about the incident’s authenticity. During her visit to the region, Tiwari spoke with a local Kashmiri driver who challenged the mainstream media’s version of events, labeling it a “political drama.”

The driver recorded the conversation to ensure accuracy and claimed that Indian news channels actively spread false propaganda. When Tiwari asked about the reported death of a young man and the attack on a newlywed couple, he insisted that the boy was still alive and that the entire story had been fabricated to serve political interests.

Tiwari questioned the credibility of the widow’s statement and the viral video featuring a child allegedly affected by the attack. The driver dismissed both as staged, stating that such narratives aim to stir emotions and divert attention from the government’s failures. He further argued that it made no sense for attackers to determine the victims’ religion from such a distance.

The driver took the conversation in a serious direction, warning that the continued economic and political oppression by the Modi-led government could push Kashmiris toward armed resistance. He criticized the ruling party’s policies and cautioned about the consequences of dragging the region into conflict.

Political analysts echoed the driver’s concerns, stating that the Modi government’s narrative starkly contrasts with the lived reality of Kashmiris. Tiwari’s report has sparked widespread debate, suggesting that the Pahalgam incident might have been a manufactured attempt to manipulate public sentiment and international opinion.
