Pakistan’s security forces killed 17 Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat.
According to ISPR, the operation was conducted on the night of September 26 and 27 following credible intelligence about the presence of militants. The terrorists were linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij.
During the operation, a large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from the possession of the militants. ISPR stated that the slain terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and the killing of innocent civilians.
A sanitization operation is currently underway in the area to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists.
The ISPR also reaffirmed the security forces’ determination to wipe out the menace of “Indian-sponsored terrorism” from the country.
