Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, received King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan at the Prime Minister’s House today for a one-on-one meeting.
During the discussions, both leaders agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities to enhance cooperation in economic, trade, investment, health, science and technology, education, and defense sectors.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to expanding strategic and economic ties between Pakistan and Jordan, as well as promoting mutually beneficial collaboration at regional and international forums.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif welcomed King Abdullah II’s visit, highlighting it as a testament to the enduring friendship between the two countries.
King Abdullah II appreciated Pakistan’s continuous support for Jordan’s role in stabilization and humanitarian efforts in Gaza, particularly in the aftermath of conflict.
Regional security, peace initiatives, and collaborative measures were also discussed in detail during the meeting.
