RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has ordered the defreezing of four bank accounts belonging to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and the accounts of Namal University.
The case was heard by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah, while Aleema Khan appeared through her counsel, Muhammad Faisal Malik.
During the proceedings, the prosecution raised no objection to unfreezing the accounts of the hospital and the university.
Prosecutor Zaheer Shah informed the court that the State Bank governor had previously been requested—based on Aleema Khan’s CNIC details—to freeze the accounts.
He added that aside from Aleema Khan’s personal and business accounts, the prosecution had no objections if any other accounts had been frozen and were now being de-seized.
