ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has denied reports that he is engaged or planning to get married, saying any such decision would be announced by his family.
In a video statement, Bilawal said social media had already “fixed” his marriage and announced his engagement, despite there being no such development.

“Social media has arranged my engagement and marriage. Nothing like that has happened,” he said, adding that he did not know anyone named “Princess Gloria.”
Bilawal described the rumors as a “social media circus” aimed at diverting public attention from more serious issues.
He also referred to the recent PIMS tragedy in Islamabad, in which 14 newborns died, and criticized a federal minister over his political statements regarding the creation of new provinces.
Bilawal said the minister could not manage a single hospital while calling for provinces to be created and run by businessmen from Lahore.
He made the remarks as the Sindh Assembly was taking what he described as a “bold stance” on the matter.
Earlier reports had claimed that Bilawal and his father, President Asif Ali Zardari, were in Vienna for discussions with an Austrian family regarding his possible engagement.
Speculation on social media had linked Bilawal’s alleged future bride to the former Austrian royal House of Habsburg-Lorraine.
Some reports claimed she was associated with the family of Karl I, the last emperor of Austria.

Bilawal, however, categorically rejected the reports and said any decision regarding his personal life would be announced by his family.
