CDF Asim Munir warns India: Pakistan’s response will be ‘more severe’ next time

The Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation.

Chief of the Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has warned that India must not remain under any illusion or miscalculation, stating that Pakistan’s response in the future will be even swifter and more severe.

Addressing officers of all three armed forces, Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces said that the establishment of the newly formed Defence Forces Headquarters marks a historic transformation.

He emphasized that, in view of evolving and expanding threats, it is essential to strengthen multi-domain operations under a unified command system of the three services.

He said that setting up the Defence Forces Headquarters is a critical step in this transition. While each service will retain its operational independence and unique identity, the new headquarters will integrate and coordinate operations across the armed forces.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed that, alongside unified higher command, all three services will continue to maintain their internal autonomy and organizational structures. Issuing a strong warning, he said India must not deceive itself, as Pakistan’s next response will be faster and far more forceful.

The Chief of Defence Forces reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, but no one will be allowed to challenge its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or resolve.

He further stated that Pakistan’s identity is invincible, protected by the unwavering faith of its brave soldiers and the firm determination of a united nation.
