Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar has announced that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has approved a rise in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) employees’ salaries.
In a video message, Wasim Akhtar said, “In 2018 there was 20% allowance given to employees while last year a 15% increase was approved.”
He added, “As soon as the chief minister signs the summary, we will increase the pay by 15%.”
