The visit comes shortly after Dar hinted that Pakistan could host direct US-Iran talks, as Islamabad seeks to position itself as a potential venue for negotiations.
Over the weekend, Pakistan hosted a four-nation meeting with Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt, where foreign ministers held discussions for around 100 minutes, emphasizing the importance of de-escalation and dialogue and supporting efforts to lay the groundwork for structured negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
During his short stay in Beijing, Dar is expected to further discuss matters previously addressed in his recent telephone conversation with FM Wang.
