In a social media post Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that, the war imposed on Iran is driven by a major “Zionist agenda,” aimed at bringing Israeli influence close to Pakistan’s borders.
In his statement, Khawaja Asif said that Zionism is a danger to humanity and that since the establishment of Israel, the wars and suffering experienced by Muslim nations have reflected the influence of Zionist thought and the state.
According to him, the global economic system has also been under Zionist influence for over a century, with major world powers operating under its sway.
The Defense Minister further warned that the attack on Iran, despite Tehran being willing to negotiate an agreement, is a major conspiratorial act in which Israel’s influence is being brought closer to Pakistan.
He suggested that a potential joint agenda involving Afghanistan, Israel, and India could be hostile toward Pakistan, threatening the country’s borders and encircling it with enemies.
He appealed to the 250 million people of Pakistan to rise above political and religious differences, understand these “conspiratorial intentions,” and recognize the enemies’ designs. Praying to God, the Defense Minister also urged the Islamic world to unite in solidarity and support the freedom of Palestine.
