He joined regional counterparts for discussions on international affairs, foreign policy and security cooperation among SCO member states.
Upon his arrival at the meeting venue, DPM Dar was warmly received by Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev, after which both leaders exchanged greetings.
Dar later joined foreign ministers of SCO member states for the traditional family photograph held ahead of the meeting.
The deputy prime minister had also attended an informal dinner of SCO foreign ministers on Thursday, where participants exchanged views and discussed the agenda and priorities of the upcoming session.

At the invitation of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev, DPM Dar is leading the Pakistan delegation at the meeting, which is being attended by foreign ministers from all SCO member states.

The participating countries include Pakistan, China, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) is the third-highest decision-making forum within the SCO framework. It focuses on matters related to international relations, foreign policy coordination and regional security challenges among member states.
The meeting provides an important platform for SCO countries to exchange views and strengthen cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
Pakistan’s participation in the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers’ Meeting reflects Islamabad’s continued diplomatic engagement with regional partners. The forum is expected to contribute to discussions on strengthening cooperation and addressing shared regional and international challenges.
