The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-II Science General Group annual examinations for 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 56.54%.
Jannat Bint Ali Dost of Concordia College, Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus, secured first position with 1,005 marks out of 1,100 and earned an A-One grade. Hamza Shakeel, son of Shakeel Ahmed, from Adamjee Government Science College, secured second position with 1,003 marks and also earned an A-One grade.
Laiba Zulfiqar of Bahria College, M.T. Khan Road, secured third position with 989 marks.

BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho announced the results and praised Adamjee Government Science College for its performance. He said the college had earlier secured all three top positions in the Pre-Engineering group before producing the second-place finisher in the Science General Group.
He said the success was the result of the hard work of students, teachers and the college administration. He added that the strong performance of government institutions in the intermediate examinations showed continued improvement in educational standards across Sindh.
Controller of Examinations Zareena Rashid shared further details, saying that 18,913 candidates had registered for the Science General Group examinations, while 18,591 appeared in the exams.
A total of 10,511 candidates passed the examinations. Of these, 748 students earned A-One grades, 2,193 earned A grades, 3,184 earned B grades, 3,076 earned C grades, 1,280 earned D grades and 20 earned E grades.
