Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reached Pakistan yesterday (Feb 13) on a two day official visit. Prime Minister Imran Khan received the President on Noor Khan Airbase.

Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s former envoy to the UN, in her welcoming message on Twitter said: “As Pakistan prepares to welcome President Erdogan of Turkey to Islamabad, this #Throwback is to Sept 2019 when we organised a high level dialogue on Hate Speech, with Turkey as co host, on the sidelines of UNGA where both leaders spoke out on Islamophobia.”

PM Imran, President of Turkey Erdogan hold Joint Press Conference
Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed a joint press conference in Islamabad.
According to the details, the press conference held after the two countries signed memorandums of understandings (MoUs) for cooperation in various areas.
During the press conference Prime Minister Imran felicitated President of Turkey Erdogan for speaking up to raise the Kashmir issue.
