Today is the last day to submit nomination papers for general elections in 2024 across the country; however, PML-N leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also submitted nomination papers.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif submitted nomination papers from Constituency NA 130, while Maryam Nawaz submitted papers for two National Assembly and three Provincial Assembly seats.
Apart from this, nomination papers of Maryam Aurangzeb have also been submitted for certain seats, however, the President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan has also submitted nomination papers from NA-119.
More than two nomination papers have been submitted for the National Assembly seats from Lahore, while more than three hundred nomination papers have been submitted for the Provincial Assembly seats.
It should be noted that today is the last day to submit nomination papers for the general elections 2024 across the country; however, the process of receiving and submitting nomination papers to participate in the general elections 2024 continues in the elections of the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies. Candidates who wish to participate are still receiving and submitting nomination papers today.
Previously, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman also submitted nomination papers from DI Khan.
According to the details, Maulana Fazlur Rahman has submitted his nomination papers from his native National Assembly seat, NA-44.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman will contest the elections with DI Khan and Pashin from the National Assembly constituency.
