On the occasion of Eid ul Adha, Pakistan Army personnel deployed at the world’s highest and most demanding battlefield, the Siachen Glacier, remain fully vigilant and mission-ready amid extreme weather conditions.
Stationed in the unforgiving terrain of snow-covered peaks and freezing winds, the soldiers extended heartfelt Eid greetings to the nation, acknowledging the spirit of sacrifice and resilience that defines the day.
In their special Eid message, the troops said that while the nation celebrates Eid with family and loved ones, they continue to stand guard in sub-zero temperatures to ensure the security and sovereignty of Pakistan.
They described their deployment as a duty of honour, carried out under severe climatic challenges, yet with unwavering determination.
The soldiers emphasized that Eid ul Adha embodies the values of sacrifice, devotion, and selfless service to the homeland, adding that the sanctity of the national flag and territorial integrity remains their foremost priority. They reiterated that any act of aggression would be met with a firm and decisive response.
The troops also appealed to the public to remember the country’s peace, stability, and the armed forces in their prayers during the Eid celebrations, reaffirming their commitment to protecting the nation at all costs.
