Pakistan Railways has introduced another improved passenger train to offer travelers a more comfortable and better-equipped journey.
The newly upgraded Narowal Passenger Train was officially launched at Lahore Railway Station in a ceremony attended by Divisional Superintendent of Railways Inamullah and other railway officials, who marked the occasion by cutting a ribbon.
A special prayer was offered at the event for the continued development of Pakistan Railways. The train was decorated with colorful lights and ribbons, giving the launch a celebratory feel. During the ceremony, the divisional superintendent also visited the train’s coaches and spoke with passengers to learn about their experience and the facilities provided.
The upgraded Narowal Passenger Train left Lahore Railway Station at 7:15 am and is expected to reach Narowal at 10:05 am. On its route, the train stops at Badami Bagh, Shahdara Bagh, Kala Khatai, Narang, Meetha Soja, Badhomali, Raiya Khas, and Pijowali.
For the return journey, the train departs Narowal at 5:00 pm, follows the same route, and arrives back in Lahore at 7:40 pm. The total travel time between Lahore and Narowal has been set at 2 hours and 40 minutes to ensure passenger convenience.
The Narowal Passenger Train consists of 10 well-designed coaches that provide a clean environment, proper lighting, and other comfortable travel features. Divisional Superintendent Inamullah described the upgraded service as a meaningful gift for the people of Narowal. He added that this step is part of a larger effort to improve railway services, in line with the vision of Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi.
