Lodhran: Railway tracks could not be restored even after more than 11 hours following the derailment of the Tezgam Express near Adam Wahan.

According to railway officials, four bogies of the train derailed late last night, leaving at least 25 passengers injured, leaves eight in critical condition.

Despite ongoing relief and restoration work, both up and down tracks remain suspended. Authorities say it may take another four hours to fully restore operations.

Meanwhile, Karachi Express and Zakaria Express have been halted at Lodhran Railway Station due to the disruption.

DC Ashraf said that, some passengers have been shifted to the Circuit House for temporary accommodation, while the affected train has been dispatched towards Karachi.

“Food and basic facilities were also provided,” the top city executive added.
