The education minister of Punjab has declared winter holidays across the province, with all educational institutions set to close from December 22 to January 10.
Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that the schedule would remain unchanged. He confirmed that no extension would occur, if smog conditions improved.
He said that the authorities had finalized the decision after review of the circumstances across Punjab.
