A long-awaited trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s programme was released by Netflix last week in conjunction with Kate Middleton and Prince William’s first trip to the US in eight years.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ reaction to Meghan and Harry’s Netflix trailer has now been revealed by palace insiders.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were reportedly “surprised but not that surprised” by the timing of the trailer release, which coincided with their high-profile visit, according to The Mail on Sunday, The New Zealand Herald, and royal sources.

The Independent had earlier claimed that despite “distractions” from Harry and Meghan, William and Kate were “unwavering” in their commitment to duty.

“We came to Boston and did what we set out to do, which was to shine a light on some great work being done across communities,” the future king’s spokeswoman told The Times.

The spokesman stated, “Regardless of other distractions, the prince and princess’s commitment to duty and service is unwavering. They got out there, did the job, and enjoyed themselves.”
