During an appearance on the FHM podcast to promote the movie, Affan shared something important.

He addressed the constant ageist comments that actors endure, highlighting a recent incident where Firdous Jamal targeted Mahira Khan on a show, criticizing her for looking old and not fitting the heroine image.

Affan said “We all are going to age at some point. First actors are targeted for getting older and when they get some sort of Botox done to change their looks, they start getting targeted for those changed looks. Thus we should live and let live.”
