He expressed his dissatisfaction with their performances, stating that they failed to deliver authentic Punjabi dialogue, lacking the appropriate pitch and tone required for such roles. Babrik argued that the original Maula Jatt film was perfect for its time and that a remake should never have been attempted.

The Legend of Maula Jatt, featuring Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in leading roles, has become the highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time, with both actors being praised for their portrayals of the legendary characters.
