The much-anticipated Spotify Wrapped 2024 is here, and this time, rapper-songwriter Talha Anjum has claimed the top spot.

The Wrapped 2024 data from a leading music streaming platform shows that Talha Anjum has become the most-streamed local artist in the country with 242 million streams, surpassing Atif Aslam, who had held the record since 2021.

Talha’s audience grew rapidly over the last decade as his rebellious songs like ‘Karachi Chal’ and ‘Kayn Talha’ gained him fame, even across the border.

The crooner of “Wishes and Regrets”, Umair, secured the second spot with around 5.2 million monthly listeners. Atif Aslam ranked third, followed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Talhah Yunus, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Hasan Raheem, Abdul Hannan, and Maanu.
