Pakistani actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has shared an emotional and deeply personal message after the heartbreaking death of fellow actress Humaira Asghar. In a moving Instagram post, Saheefa revealed that a decade ago, she lived with the constant fear of dying just like Humaira—quietly, alone, and forgotten.

In a heartbreaking post, Saheefa expressed her grief over Humaira’s tragic and mysterious death, saying: “Ten years ago, my only fear was that I would die like her—a silent, lonely death, forgotten by the world.”

Saheefa confessed that seeing Humaira’s story shook her to the core, making her fearful of losing herself again. She poured her emotions into a poetic caption, vividly describing a haunting vision:

“I woke with a weight on my chest, a thought that stole my sleep—what if you died in October, and your body was found as summer still lingered… lying under Karachi’s rainy sky, listening to winter’s silent sighs…”

She continued the poetic reflection, imagining how Humaira’s soul remained alone as the world moved on:

“Spring’s soft blooms, summer’s cries, the sun rising and setting… yet no one came. No voice called, no hand reached. Just silence. You weren’t buried, just left behind—as if the world had shut its eyes.”

As nine months have passed since Humaira’s death, Saheefa’s words captured the ache of being forgotten:

“Nearly a year, and not a sound, while laughter echoed above the earth. I don’t know what hurt more—your death, or the way the world ignored it. I’m sorry this world let you go like that.”

Reflecting on her own journey, Saheefa said the industry that claims to shine turned dark when she disappeared from the spotlight. She wrote that only a few people bothered to check in on her when she stopped posting or vanished for a while.

“I’m not saying this to steal your light or make your wounds mine. I’m just saying—I’ve been where silence stares you down and you start fearing your own existence.”

She heartbreakingly added:

“This world forgets you before you even die. You’re not anyone’s truth. Just a passing face. They cry for a few days, then turn away, dismissing your pain as drama.”

Saheefa bravely recalled asking for help but being shamed:

“They said I was using pain as an excuse to find work. Some called me weak. Some said I was desperate for attention. Others left me behind like I didn’t exist. But somehow, I survived—maybe by luck, maybe by grace. But I’m still here in this cruel world.”

As she remembered her darkest days, Saheefa said:

“I know the empty echo of silence. I know how every gaze doesn’t always heal. So until we meet again someday, I’ll carry your name with me. I’ll talk to the skies, hoping this world learns to cry—and maybe, by the time I get there, it will have changed a little.”
