The Sindh Softball Association has announced its women’s squad for the Essa Lab 15th National Women’s Softball Championship, set to take place from 2nd to 4th December at the KMC Sports Complex Football Ground on Kashmir Road, Karachi.
Leading the provincial team, Mercline Perwaiz will captain the squad, with Kainat Khan as vice-captain. The team will be coached by Faraz Ejaz, while Naheed Liaquat will serve as team manager, ensuring strategic guidance and strong support throughout the tournament.
The squad comprises talented athletes, including: Deesha Ramesh, Syeda Rutaba Nadir, Ameena Mushtaq, Hiba Siddiqui, Mahnoor Farooq, Eliya Batool, Noor Atka, Tulsi Maheqwar, Laiba Shoora, Aina, Suzaine Bhatti, Maliha Firdous, Farasha Ahlam, Ifra, and Doha.

Speaking on the announcement, Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, President of the Sindh Softball Association, said, “This championship is a golden platform for women athletes of Sindh to demonstrate their skill, resilience, and competitive spirit. It’s a proud moment for the province to showcase its talent at a national level.”

The three-day championship will bring together top women’s softball teams from across Pakistan, promising thrilling matches, intense competition, and a celebration of women’s sports in Karachi this December.
