The Lahore High Court has suspended the newly implemented constitution of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earlier today.

The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination had earlier notified about the change in the constitution after approval from the Federal Cabinet on Monday this week.

The decision will now put a full stop to the PCB’s plan of revamping the domestic structure with changes in executive powers at the top.

According to the new constitution, the Prime Minister, who is the Patron-in-Chief of PCB, was going to have limited powers.

The reason behind the court’s decision is not known yet, however, it will definitely be a big headache for Ehsan Mani and Wasim Khan, who were focused on uplifting domestic cricket in Pakistan in line with Imran Khan’s vision.
