Rafael Nadal wins the US Open title for the fourth time

Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal defeated Russia’s Daniil Medvedev and won U.S. Open men’s championship for the fourth time.

The final score of the match between the two players was 7-5, 6-3, 5-7, 4-6, 6-4.

With this victory, Rafael Nadal has won 19 Grand Slam titles.

While speaking to the reporters after U.S. Open win, Rafael Nadal said it was a wonderful final, and it was the most emotional night of my tennis career.

“This victory is very important to me, “I am playing tennis because I love to play tennis, “he said.

33-year-old Rafael Nadal won $3.85 million as the 2019 men’s U.S. Open champion, and he’s now won more than $115 million in total career prize money.

Prior this July Tennis superstar Roger Federer has reached his 12th Wimbledon final after downing old rival Rafael Nadal. Previously both superstars met 11 years ago in 2008 at Wimbledon final which was won by Nadal after the game being dubbed as the greatest ever played.
