UK Army women hockey team knocks out Pakistani team

The UK Army women hockey team won the match Final match between Pakistan and UK Army women hockey teams which was played at Army Hockey Stadium Rawalpindi.

According to Inter services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was chief guest.

Acting UK High Commissioner was present to witness the match.

Meanwhile, the Army Chief met with players from the Army teams participating in the National Games in Peshawar.

Pakistan Army teams have won 7,909 points with 150 Gold, 134 Silver and 96 Bronze medals.

England’s women hockey team Army had arrived Pakistan for a six-day tour, arranged by Pakistan Army Sports Directorate.

The team is scheduled to play against Pakistan’s women teams Army, WAPDA, Railway as well as the national team.

The British team will play against WAPDA, Railway and National Women’s Hockey team on November 21,22 and 23 respectively.
