As Azhar XI takes control of the first test giving the host a tough time on the second day; England will continue to bat with a trail of 234 runs having six wickets in hand.

According to the details, Shan Masood scored a brilliant 156 to assist Pakistan to a strong total of 326 in the first innings of the first Test against England.

The play started with Pakistan  139-2, the built-in large part around Babar Azam’s fluent 69.

England’s top order was put to the sword as Pakistan’s vibrant attack, the bowlers made good use of the platform to leave England 92-4 at Emirates Old Trafford.

Pakistan responded to England in terrible trouble at 12-3.
