Leading Olympian hockey player Akhtar Rasool has contracted the global epidemic Corona virus.

According to details, Akhtar Rasool’s brother Khalid Iqbal said that Akhtar Rasool is suffering from corona virus and has been undergoing treatment in a private hospital for the last 11 days.

Akhtar Rasool is a former captain of the Pakistani hockey team and president of the Hockey Federation.

It may be recalled that Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, Secretary Asif Bajwa and other officials have also offered prayers for Akhtar Rasool’s speedy recovery.
