Pak vs SA: “Glad to have had a chance to tour Pakistan”, says Kagiso Rabada

Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada said that he is glad to had have a chance to tour Pakistan, a nation that has produced many world-class players.

In a video message, he expressed his enthusiasm about playing first time in Pakistan and said,

“I’m glad to say I’ve had a chance to tour Pakistan because they hold such a prestige in international cricket,”

“Pakistan have some greats of the game who have come from these parts so it’s just nice to be in area where they have all come from.”

Rabada appreciated the security which is provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “I have a lot of faith in their security. I feel quite safe, I feel as if I can just focus on cricket,” he said.

Rabada further added to his statement that,

“I think the PCB has done a great job at ensuring we are safe. Hats off to them! It’s obviously not an ideal situation, and Covid is not an ideal situation but they have made it work.”

Rabada was happy to back as he was not part of the Proteas squad that beat Sri Lanka at their home ground. “It’s nice to be back in the full-flowing camp where you can really put some good work in gearing up for what’s going to be a hard test match,” he said.

The first test match of the test series is starting on 26 January and the second on February 4. Also, the T20 series will be played on February 11, 13 and 14

1st T20I – Feb 11 – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore – (day/night) starts 3:30pm PST

2nd T20I – Feb 13 – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore – (day/night) starts 3:30pm PST

3rd T20I – Feb 14 – Gaddafi Stadium Lahore – (day/night) starts 3:30pm PST
