The spin attack of Pakistani bowlers continued to trouble the South African team in the second innings after they lost four wickets on day three of the first test match against Pakistan.

Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen’s 128-run stand for the second wicket provided some hope to Proteas.

South Africa finished day three at 187 for four and a 29-run lead over Pakistan with skipper Quinton de Kock and Keshav Maharaj present on the crease.

The openers of Proteas provided a good opening stand of 48 runs however they stood 37 without a wicket at lunch on day three.

Pakistan looks well in control after taking a 158-run lead over South Africa on Thursday at National Stadium Karachi (NSK).
