Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Chelsea’s Sam Kerr have won the people’s PFA players’ player of the year grants.

The pair won the Golden Boot in 2021-22 as top scorers in the Premier League and Women’s Super League separately.

Manchester City’s Phil Foden, 22, won the youthful player of the year grant for the second back-to-back preparation.

Lauren Hemp, 21, who plays for City in the WSL, was named the youthful player of the time for a record-breaking fourth season in succession.

That makes England worldwide the most designed PFA grant victor ever across all classifications.

Egypt’s Salah turns into the 6th male player to win two PFA player of the year grants, after Mark Hughes, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Gareth Bale, and last year’s victor Kevin de Bruyne.

Salah scored 24 Premier League objectives, level with Son Heung-min, as Liverpool passed up the title by one to City. He additionally gave 14 aids to the association – and won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
