Denzel Dumfries was involved in two assists during the Dutch team’s masterful performance that lasted the full 90 minutes. A goal by Memphis Depay in the tenth minute gave them a 1-0 lead, and a goal by Daley Blind in the forty-fifth and one-fortieth minute just before halftime made it 2-0.

Haji Wright, who came on as a substitute, scored for the United States of America in the 76th minute, and Christian Pulisic was the one who assisted him. However, this advantage did not last long as Dumfries scored a goal for the Dutch by volleying in a Blind cross in the 81st minute to make the score 3-1 in favour of the Dutch.
