Mohammad Siraj of India was ranked first in the most recent International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI bowling rankings.

Trent Boult of New Zealand lost top place to Siraj after the just ended ODI series, in which Siraj took five wickets in two games against New Zealand.

Boult, a left-arm bowler, was not present for the India ODI series. He was demoted to third place and received a rating of 708. Josh Hazlewood of Australia holds onto second place with a rating of 727.

In positions four and five, respectively, are Rashid Khan (Afghanistan) and Mitchell Starc (Australia).

Shaheen Shah Afridi, a Pakistani player, is ranked seventh overall with a score of 641.

After July 2022, Afridi struggled with a knee injury and participated in just four ODIs. He took nine wickets at a 19.44 average.

The left-arm pacer’s most recent appearance in a match for a foreign country was in November of last year. He played in the championship game of the T20 World Cup 2022 against England.

He was taking a catch off Shadab Khan when his knee was struck on the ground, forcing him to leave the game. Afridi hasn’t participated in any international competitions since that time.

The pacer is expected to return to professional cricket in the next eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, according to the most recent updates (PSL).

In the competition, he will captain the reigning champion Lahore Qalandars. Afridi led Qalandars as captain for the first time in 2017 and contributed to his team’s first PSL championship.

In the championship game, Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans, the reigning champions, to win the prized trophy.
