The squad for Afghanistan‘s three-match T20I series against Pakistan has been chosen by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).

Against a young Pakistani team led by Shadab Khan, bowling all-rounder Rashid Khan will captain the team.

“Our team has been working hard in training camp, and selectors have chosen the best available players for the series,” ACB CEO Naseeb Khan stated. I have faith that our team will deliver their best effort and honour our country. We wish our squad the best of luck and anticipate seeing them win the series.

“Moreover, we anticipate an exciting competition between two outstanding teams. Both countries have ardent followers who cheer on their teams with zeal and pride. We have a special link as neighbours, and we intend to demonstrate not just our cricketing abilities, but also the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. We wish both teams luck and hope that cricket fans all over the world enjoy the games.”
