The 35-year-old Suns forward achieved the milestone in Friday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets, where he scored 30 points to bring his career total to 27,423 points.

Despite Durant’s individual brilliance, the Phoenix Suns ultimately fell to the Nuggets 119-111. However, Durant’s historic achievement overshadowed the team’s loss, as he joined an elite group of NBA legends who have surpassed 27,000 career points.

Nikola Jokic, the reigning NBA MVP, continued his dominant form with a 21-point, 16-assist performance for the Nuggets. All five Denver starters scored in double figures, contributing to the team’s balanced attack.
