“They are some great talents to work with and also it will be great to work alongside the great Shane Watson,” he added.

Recall that Quetta promoted Moin Khan from head coach to team director and appointed Shane Watson as the team’s new head coach.

Khan took on this new position after eight years as head coach. Khan has been a crucial member of the team’s coaching staff since the PSL’s first season.

The squad won the championship title in 2019 and finished as runners-up twice under Khan’s coaching direction, indicating a record of steady success and development for the Gladiators.

It should be mentioned that the Gladiators completed three transactions before the December 13 PSL 9 draft. Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Wasim Jr., and Rilee Rossouw from the Multan Sultans were swapped, and Iftikhar Ahmed from the Sultans and Naseem Shah from United were left off the field.

They selected a few solid players in the draft. Retired Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir was the top choice, and Sherfaine Rutherford, a hard-hitter from the West Indies, was selected in the Platinum category.
