List of biggest away Premier League wins after Arsenal 6-0 truimph over West Ham
Arsenal made history with a 6-0 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Goals from Bukayo Saka (2), William Saliba, Gabriel Saliba, Leandro Trossard, and a stunning strike from Declan Rice brought Arsenal level on goal difference with Manchester City, leaving them just two points behind the league leaders, Liverpool.
Under Mikel Arteta’s leadership, Arsenal effortlessly defeated their London rivals, marking a low point in David Moyes’ time as manager of the Hammers. This victory represents Arsenal’s fourth win in a row, solidifying their position in the title chase.
Alphonse Areola, the former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, had a day to forget, becoming the ninth goalkeeper in Premier League history to let in six or more goals against Arsenal.

This is only the second time that Arsenal has scored six goals without reply since the Premier League began in 1992, the first instance being their 6-0 win over Blackpool in 2010.
The win in East London matches previous 6-1 victories against Everton in 2009 and Middlesbrough in 1999 at Goodison Park and the Riverside Stadium, respectively. However, Arsenal was unable to beat their record Premier League wins, which include 7-1, 7-0, and 7-0 victories over Blackburn Rovers, Everton, and Middlesbrough.
The 2024 team has made its mark in Premier League history by equalling the record for the biggest away wins. Five teams have netted six goals on their opponents’ home ground, with Arsenal being the latest to join this group.
Liverpool has achieved this feat twice, beating Newcastle United in 2013 and Aston Villa in 2016. Chelsea, another London rival of Arsenal, has also done it twice, against Wigan Athletic in 2010 and Southampton in 2022. Manchester City rounds off the list of 6-0 victors, having defeated Watford at Vicarage Road in 2017.
Despite Rice’s contender for goal of the season wrapping up the scoring, Arsenal fell short of joining Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, or Liverpool as teams that have netted seven goals.
