At present, Pakistani cricketers are participating in a fitness camp at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT). They are involved in various training routines and gym exercises. The camp, which started on March 26 and will end on April 8, is attended by 29 players.

In their free time between training sessions, the players engage in recreational activities like playing snooker.

Iftikhar Ahmed, an all-rounder, posted a video on social media that captured a fun moment during one of these snooker games.

Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi were seen playing a game of snooker, while other players such as Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir watched them play in a jovial atmosphere.

“Thoroughly enjoying our time together in Kakul camp. Remember us in your duas,” Iftikhar wrote.

It’s important to note that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to reinstate Babar Azam as captain before the T20 World Cup 2024.

The PCB is considering Babar to take over from Shaheen Afridi as the captain for the upcoming mega-event tournament. However, Babar is looking for a more long-term commitment as captain. He has expressed his desire to the Pakistan Cricket Board to lead in all formats if he is to consider captaining the T20I team.
