It’s important to remember that the high-stakes battle was ultimately decided in the last round, following victories by Pakistan’s Rizwan Ali and India’s Himanshu Kaushik in the first and second matches, respectively.

The event kicked off with Pakistan’s Rizwan Ali going head-to-head with India’s Pawan Gupta in the first round. Rizwan had little difficulty defeating his opponent, with Gupta soon finding himself on the mat after Rizwan delivered a knockout in the first round.

Pakistan was leading 1-0 before India’s Himanshu Kaushik took on Faizan Khan in the second round. If Pakistan had won that round, they would have clinched the match. However, Kaushik managed to defeat Faizan, who stepped in for Uloomi Karim after he was disqualified for missing his weight by five kilos.

With the match tied at 1-1, it all came down to the final round where Pakistan’s captain Shahzaib Rindh faced off against India’s Rana Singh. Rindh’s relentless attacks from the start of the match cornered his opponent, and he ultimately won the fight with a technical knockout decision.

Following the fight, Rindh entered the ring waving both the Pakistani and Indian flags, symbolizing his desire for peace between the two nations.
