Sajid Khan’s brilliant seven-wicket leads to England all out at 291

Ben Duckett led England’s innings with an impressive 114 runs, but many frontline batters struggled to convert their starts into significant scores.

Starting the day at 239-6, Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse were at the crease but could not provide the necessary resistance, and the innings ended quickly, with Jack Leach remaining unbeaten on 25 runs.

Pakistan’s bowlers, particularly Sajid Khan, excelled, taking 7 wickets for 111 runs. His crucial dismissals included centurion Duckett, Harry Brook, Joe Root, and Ollie Pope, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of the hosts.

Earlier, Pakistan, led by Shan Masood, had posted a total of 366 runs, with debutant Kamran Ghulam shining as he top-scored with a fluent 118. Saim Ayub also made a valuable contribution with 77 runs.

For England, Jack Leach (4-114) and Brydon Carse (3-50) were standout performers with the ball. England currently leads the three-Test series 1-0, making this match crucial for Pakistan as they seek to level the series.
