Karachi Kings Add Khushdil Shah to Squad in Diamond Category

LAHORE: Karachi Kings added local all-rounder Khushdil Shah to their squad in the Diamond category during the PSL 10 Player Draft on Monday.

Khushdil, a seasoned performer in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) since 2017, has previously represented Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans.

Renowned for his all-round abilities, the 29-year-old has amassed 693 runs in 48 innings with an impressive strike rate of 140.85. As a bowler, he has secured 24 wickets with a remarkable average of 20.12.

On the international stage, Khushdil has represented Pakistan in 37 white-ball matches since his debut in 2019, solidifying his reputation as a versatile player.

Joining Karachi Kings’ Diamond category roster, Khushdil will partner with retained players Hasan Ali and James Vince. Hasan, a dependable pace bowler known for his match-winning deliveries under pressure, is set to lead the team’s bowling attack. Meanwhile, English batter James Vince, vice-captain in the previous season, adds stability and firepower to the batting lineup with his wealth of experience and strategic acumen.

With these players in the Diamond category, Karachi Kings have assembled a strong and balanced squad aiming for a successful PSL 10 campaign.
