KARACHI: The Central Asia Volleyball Association (CAVA) has shifted its Men’s Nations League to Uzbekistan amid rising tension between Pakistan and India.

The Central Asian Volleyball championship was scheduled from May 29 to June 04 in Islamabad. It will now be held in Uzbekistan on the same dates.

Due to tension between Pakistan and India several teams are expressed hesitation about traveling to Pakistan for the tournament
The decision to change the venue was finalized during a recent meeting of the Central Asian Volleyball Federation held in Nepal.

The Pakistan Volleyball Federation has officially confirmed the relocation of the event.

The event will now feature teams from Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and India.
